Ok so its the ending of another great week. Especially since my hair is a good look. I was always against the entire weave forever thang more for the natural sisters with real hair type of platform...But I am an essential potential addict as I think its cute and a relax from Miss Bee heating it up at the Dominican Shop. Although she is a great look...Hmm, even for a fly roller set of my weave too...LOL! But long short I love the great hair and the cheap hair too...
My peeps came thru with some Bohemian type hair. Looking straight Cherokee like she was there when Christopher Columbus came off the boat....LOL!
Anywho here is a great site that I heard great things about. Um Yeah, spending that bread may make it Unbe-WEABLE! LoL!

Looking Past your next Frivolous Purchase-an GIVE
On Sundays I wind down the evening an watch Extreme Makeover. I always get mid-way throught the show and think how is it possible to live this life without making a difference. As I watch it I am all to pieces in tears as I watch the struggles of another human being sacrificing something not for the next gucci purchase but for another.
This week was about a mother of six with six kids and five of the children has autism. Can you imagine?
This has truly sparked me to go into my thoughts and think what can I do to give back. I know giving is the greatest "JOY".
Search your heart today and see where you would be a good fit to spread some JOY, and to give......

AUTHENTICITY
A young lady sent me a verse from Ralph Marston about being the "Authentic You".
It really slammed into my spirit as I realized that people don't take large amounts of time being authentic.
I find that it's not because people don't truly want to be authentic but its due to the fact that they just don't know how or either they want to fit in the box or with the crowd or it's out of just plain rebellion that one lacks authenticity.
-OR-
You become clueless on how to connect to your purpose and live anonymous as to who you really are... For some its easierto live out in the land of your desires vs. purpose or just in plain or fear to be yourself.
I thought about as Transparent Me how connected I am to certain parts of that very statement.
Do I know who I am despite who you may think I am? Is what you think even pertinent to my goals and/or connected to the true me.....?
Am I true to my emotions and do I even whip them into shape and not let them regulate and lead my life.
I said to a friend a great team building exercise for my next function (which if I do one finally some folk will smile) I am gonna stop playing and really have a women's day......Well the exercise of choice was to write an obituary.
As authentic as I am during the last month my life in a second my life was almost not in existence. May sound wild but think about it...if your life was gone what would your obituary read.
Did you live out your purpose, your legacy? Did you live life with no regrets or did you go in circles time after time never getting the lessons from all the trials and tests.
Did you get to be who God created you to be or just who you desired to become?
AUTHENTIC were you...true to you...Or did you spend most of your time as Double O seven, hiding even from yourself?
Here a brief obituary on me....

Nakia Kereema Crenshaw, loving mother of six year old boy. Spent most conversations talking about the intellect and charisma and strong sincere personality of her little boy. Her career path spent as assistants for top level VP's...(booooo) A dreamer of sorts and her visions were tremendous, creative and delightful. Always adored fantasy....
She loved the Lord and worked on seeking him daily to enhance, embrace his goodness through her life. She learned to laugh more, smile more, and love more. Her prayers were to ask God to give her the desires of her heart and to help her be single and loving it until the right thing came along. She had no quams to seek and admit the need for help her in her walk and to be upright and and not be a fraud Mon thur Sat. or just loving the Lord carnally. She always had the transparent power to admit when she fell short and had no pride for the Lord to help her in areas that she was weak in.
She loved chic flics, traveling, a definite fashionista....Beautiful inside and outside.
As I sit and read this I think, Lord there is so much more I want to do and want to finally be......So its not that morbid it really helps you think about the AUTHENTIC YOU..
